Plan Your Future

Once you request information, a member of our admissions team will schedule a time to connect to discuss your future goals. Depending on where you are located and how you prefer, we can hold this meeting over the phone or in person at our East Ohio campus.

This meeting is intended to learn more about you and your unique situation and to find what you are looking for in a school. In your interview, you may discuss your previous schooling, prior work experience, interests, and anything else you feel is relevant to your success. During this visit, you can ask any questions about East Ohio College, our programs, your classes, or anything else you may be interested in. Your admissions team member will work closely with you to create a plan for your future after we have a good sense of what you’re looking for.

We will create a customized plan to help you achieve your career goals. This will include completing the necessary degree program, learning essential skills, acquiring valuable experience, and preparing for professional certifications*. With a career plan in place, you can begin your journey toward reaching your career goals.

Provide Continuous Support

You will continue to receive continuous support from your admissions team member after you have created your career plan. You must schedule a consultation with a financial aid team member to complete your enrollment. Admissions will assist you with scheduling and preparing for this appointment.

After completing your financial aid appointment, you’re enrolled in your classes. As you navigate through the enrollment process, your admissions team member will be by your side to provide guidance. You can contact your admissions team member by phone, text, or in person whenever you have questions or concerns, and you can always count on them for assistance.

If you need additional support, your admissions team member can help to connect you with the right resources. You can ask your admissions person for resources about organizations that can help with childcare so you can attend your classes. They will also get you the verifications you need. Your admissions team member can also refer you for mental health services, transportation services, fee assistance, and assistance with purchasing a laptop.

Prepare for Success

After completing the enrollment process, you can start school! During this period, you will be supported by your admissions team member. As you progress through your first six weeks of school, your admissions team member continues to check in with you weekly to see how things are going and if assistance is needed.

Your admissions team member can answer your questions about the online student portal for students enrolled in East Ohio online. We care about your success, which is why we have an open-door policy, and our admissions team members pride themselves on being your advocates.
