About Our Medical Assistant Training Program

  • Taking Patient Vital Signs (Blood Pressure, Temperature, and Pulse)
  • Assisting Doctors and Nurses with Physical Exams.

  • Practicing Phlebotomy

Applying Your Degree

East Ohio is designed to prepare you for a National Healthcareer Association certification exam which can strengthen your appeal in the job market. In addition, certifications illustrate to potential employers that you have the skills necessary to become a valuable contributor upon starting the position. The certification exam our students are qualified to sit for is the following:
