East Ohio College’s online Clinical Medical Assistant program offers students the flexibility of taking online courses combined with receiving hands-on instruction during clinical days at the East Ohio campus.

The best-of-both-worlds approach increases the comfort level of our East Ohio College medical assisting online students in learning patient care and clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and lab tests.

The East Ohio College online academic journey consists of an integrated training plan for medical assistant students that prepares them for healthcare careers in two years or less.

This training plan includes classroom instruction, student services, lab skill development, externships, and career services.

East Ohio College medical assistant online students prepare for a National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam as part of the curriculum. The certification exams our students are qualified to sit for are the following:
