Medical assisting student Kacey Carothers shares some insight on her experience as a college student and member of the East Ohio College student government. Kacey is gaining the professional skills and knowledge to become career-ready. In addition to completing a 160-hour externship at a local doctor’s office, she anticipates earning her medical assistant associate’s degree and completing her examination to become a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant*.
