Why Choose East Ohio College
At East Ohio College, we prioritize providing students with a comprehensive educational experience that prepares them for their careers. This means that our programs are accelerated with smaller class sizes, online coursework, and hands-on learning components, so you will feel prepared to enter the workforce in your chosen field.
Every program at East Ohio College is designed to prepare you with the training, experience, and skills necessary to start a career in two years or less. This means that you can go to college, graduate, and start working while your peers who chose a traditional four-year college are still in school. With training programs in nursing, allied healthcare, and professional services, EOC is here to help you achieve your career goals, whatever they may be!
Another aspect of East Ohio College that makes our training experience unique is the blend of online classes with hands-on experiences. Some programs may be completed entirely online, with the exception of an in-person externship experience. Several programs combine virtual learning with hands-on labs and clinicals at the East Ohio College campus or regional healthcare facilities. This best-of-both-worlds approach provides students with the opportunity to build a solid foundation of knowledge from the comfort of their own homes and then apply their knowledge in a safe and structured environment.
Choosing The Right Training Program
A crucial first step toward your future career is selecting the right training program that aligns with your aspirations. Some key factors to consider before committing to a career path include identifying your strengths and weaknesses, determining whether you enjoy working with people, envisioning the kind of environment you picture yourself in, and addressing other fundamental questions. You can also take a career test like ours, which suggests one of East Ohio College’s programs based on your answers to specific questions.
