Spirit Week Excitement at East Ohio!

East Ohio College celebrated the end of the academic mod and the start of the Christmas break during the week of December 12-15 by hosting a campus spirit week. This week-long event was hosted by the Student Government and was a lot of fun.

The week was kicked off by hand delivering Christmas cards to all the staff to spread cheer and show their appreciation to the East Ohio faculty. After that, everyone wore their favorite sports team’s colors, jerseys, and accessories on Monday. On Tuesday, the Student Government asked everyone to wear their ugliest Christmas sweater. Everyone stayed warm and cozy on Wednesday by wearing their pajamas to school! And on Thursday, everyone participated in “representing their favorite holiday movie.”

To wrap up the day on Thursday, the Student Government hosted a bake sale. Everyone pitched in to bring goodies and packaging and to offer help. Students and staff could stop by to grab a sweet snack and hot chocolate after their finals. The bake sale went so well that the group sold out by mid-afternoon!
